He didn’t make me feel ashamed or embarrassed about my teeth. He explained how we will “run a marathon” together and help me with my concerns. He is beyond amazing!

Dr. Nickels and his staff are amazing!!!! Prior to coming to Dr Nickels I had a filling come out 2 times. I called his office and he saw me within hours and saved my tooth. I am grateful.

YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!! I’m 42 and this was hands down the best dental experience I have ever had in my life! I was told by another dentist after waiting all weekend in pain that my roots were too deep and he couldn’t do it, and that I would have to go to an oral surgeon… I called Dr Nickels and he not only squeezed me in the very next morning, but also got my tooth out effortlessly without any cutting! When i called he spent a good bit on the phone with me personally making sure that I was taking Ibuprofen and Tylenol together, and gave me is personal cell phone number to call if the pain became unbearable… I am moving to Florida in a week but will honestly drive back to South Carolina just for Dr Nickels to do my dental work!

Where do I begin? Dr Daniel Nickles is by far the most compassionate and gentle dentist /oral surgeon I have ever been too. He is an expert when it comes to dental implant surgery . I have always been afraid of dentists my whole life because I have had a few horrible experiences. I went to see him today for a follow up appointment to check the progress of my recent surgery. All went well . I have had friends go elsewhere for implants and they had a botched job. I truly feel driving over 3 hours to get to him from NC is worth my time, comfort snd well being. dr. nickles skills are unmatched. I drove 850 miles each a at to have him do my dentures and extractions took 4 visits and almost 3,000 miles of driving but Holy crap im pain free and smiling again... and my teeth were a wreck.. the worst he had seen in years
I don't even know where to start... I walked in there a month or 2 ago in terrible pain... terrified, scared, anxiety ridden, all to be told I had the worst teeth he had seen in a VERY long time, BUT not to worry he could fix me... I didn't know how but I would soon find out... his skills are absolutely phenomenal and 2 out of the 4 appointments I don't even remember thank god lol... he did so much work to get the infections and bacteria and pain under control... after I left about a week or 2 later my mouth felt better than its ever felt.. we decided on dentures as the next course of treatment.. so back to SC I came from Florida... Dr Nickles prescribed me some meds that he said "take 2 before the appointment" I did, and I don't even remember getting in the car to go there lol...they did a full mouth extraction in about 2 hrs and sent me home with dentures in my mouth that day... I woke up that night and forgot I even went to the dentist... I have had ZERO PAIN and only mild discomfort from swelling and having a foreign object in my mouth... I seriously can't believe how freaking good he is and his girls are amazing too I've had experiences with all of them over the past 2 months and I couldn't be happier.. I can't say enough about Dr. Nickles except I was willing to drive 850 miles each way to take advantage of his skill and dedication...
What can I say, everyone was so welcoming, polite, and accommodating. I had never been to Nickles Dental and cracked a tooth the day earlier. I called and they immediately asked me to come and they would work me in. Upon arrival, I waited no more than an hour and I was in a room with Dr. Nickles and his assistant. They took care of my problem and sent me home a happier person. I would highly recommend them and would give them 10 stars if it were possible. Thank you to everyone there who made me feel like family on my first visit. If you have dental needs, trust me, these folks are the REAL DEAL!!

I had an emergency that had I not been able to be seen today, I may not have made it through the weekend due to infection in my bloodstream. I am on chemotherapy so this was a special situation that Dr. Nickles had to coordinate any treatment through my oncologist. Awesome. He literally saved my life. Thank God for him and his wonderful team, Bridgette and Phillipa. The office manager was sick today and not there but I'm sure she's great, also!
Dr. Nickels and his entire staff are the absolute best dentist I’ve been to ever!! I highly recommend them for the entire family! The Assistant named Starr, who patiently took photographs of my teeth was so reassuring and thorough with me. I felt I could ask her anything and receive an explanation I could understand. They've taken on a challenge for a patient and did so gracefully and with unparalleled professionalism with TV commercials that are not too good to be true. Definitely worth my 45-50 minute drives to/from Greenville SC to get care from someone who has 30 years of steady-handed experience, including wisdom teeth removals and oral surgeries, and always does the right things for / by his patients.

Everyone, from the front desk receptionist, to the two young ladies (hygenists?) who assist in the back with patients, to the doctor himself, were patient and professional. They were a pleasure to talk to, and were courteous. I had a surprise tooth extraction today, and it went smoothly, and the cost (I have no insurance) was reasonable and within my budget. I recommended to everyone at work already, and I saw the dentist this morning!

So thankful for Dr. Nickles taking the time today to address hubby's severe infection when he was only supposed to be there for a cleaning with Starr. Thank you, Starr, for recognizing the problem, and thank you Dr. Nickles for taking care of it ASAP. Could have turned into a real mess had it not been addressed. I used to have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. So much so that I didn't go for several years. But have been seeing Dr. Nickles for years now with no angst whatsoever. He and his office staff have always taken great care of us. Even saw my mom on an emergency basis while she was visiting from out of town. They are the best.

Great WONDERFUL knowledgeable staff!!! First time patient and I feel like I knew them for years. I got an appointment in short notice to fit my schedule. What drew me to them was the fact they saw my daughter and fixed her up when her dentist couldn't. They also checked in on her to make sure she was doing fine. They take such good care of me! I went into the office today with an embarrassing broken tooth. Not only did Dr. Nickles fix the tooth, but he "touched up" 4 other teeth that I was self-conscious about. He gave me my beautiful smile back! I have been a patient since 2002, and the people who work here keep reminding me why.

There should really be a 100 star option for this dentist as well as ALL of his lovely staff members! From the moment I reached out for more information online, I knew I was choosing the right dentist. Dr. Nickles communicated with me promptly via chat on his website and assured me that he would work with me and get me out of pain as soon as possible and he did just that! With him being the stellar dentist he is, he was booked up for the next month or so, but he was able to squeeze me in seeing that I was in so much pain and for that I’m very thankful! As if those experiences weren’t enough, Dr. Nickles wowed me yet again when over the weekend I was experiencing EXTREME pain and discomfort and even though his office is closed Friday-Sunday, his assistant Crystal kept constant communication with me and when nothing was getting me out of pain, Dr. Nickles drove OVER AN HOUR ON A SUNDAY just to visit me!!! Now that is OUTSTANDING patient care. Also, the fact that after treatment on that Sunday, Dr. Nickles DID NOT take me directly to the register (though I’m sure the bill is coming lol) showed me that I was top priority and that made me feel like gold! I clearly can go on and on about how amazing my experience here has been, but I think I’ve said enough and made it crystal clear that I HIGHLY recommend this amazing dentist! The love, patience, compassion and outstanding care is what is needed in these days we’re living! To the Nickles Dental crew, thank each of you for being more than what healthcare should be. 💕

This practice has been my family dentist for just over 14 years! Dr. Nickles is always wonderful and the staff is very professional. Dr. Nickles is the best dentist around and he does everything, I get my cleaning there with Starr, she is wonderful. Dr. Nickles has done fillings, a root canal and a crown on me and he did my brothers wisdom teeth after his dentist referred him out to several offices. He came to Dr. Nickles and he worked him in and took care of him ASAP. He did implants on my mom. Dr. Nickles and his staff are super nice, they make you feel welcomed!

In the past several months we have been to 4 dentists, traveling from forest City NC to Belmont, Matthews, Rutherfordton, and then to Greenville. Thank God for Dr Nickles!! I have Sjögren’s syndrome. Not many people know about this disease. But Dr Nickles did. I’ve been scared of the dentist my entire life. So walking up to Dr Nickles was no different for me. Up until I walked in the staff greeted me knowing I had fears they were kind and patient empathetic and amazing people. I watched as the receptionist checked out another patient while I filled out my paper work. I had to laugh because the patient literally danced her way out of the office. They were beyond kind and understanding. As the receptionist introduced me to the ( I think) dentist assistant she mention to be extra gentle with me because I’m nervous. And they were. Sitting in the chair waiting on Dr Nickles to come in to meet me. The fear I must say started to kick in a little. Dr Nickles comes in the room and makes me feel like he’s been my dentist for years. He spoke to me made eye contact and made jokes even laughing at my jokes. He reassured me. That he will come up with a plan and when I leave him after it’s all said and done that “You would be smiling so big that people would have to ask you why in the world you we’re smiling so big ?” Even if I were to go somewhere else ( I don’t plan on it ) they wouldn’t be able to hold a candle to Dr. Nickles and his staff!!

I visited several dentists and found everyone of them not able to provide me with the compassion and professionalism Dr Nickles and his team offer to me. Dr Daniel Nickles was a life saver for me. I had a abscessed tooth . After seeing another dentist who did absolutely nothing for me . Dr Nickles staff got me right in to see him. He assessed me and took care of my tooth right then. Needless to say after eight days of pain, I was so relieved !!! His staff even called me later that day to check on me . I can truly say Dr Nickles is the most caring and kind dentist I have ever seen .

YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!! I’m 42 and this was hands down the best dental experience I have ever had in my life! I was told by another dentist after waiting all weekend in pain that my roots were too deep and he couldn’t do it, and that I would have to go to an oral surgeon… I called Dr Nickels and he not only squeezed me in the very next morning, but also got my tooth out effortlessly without any cutting! When i called he spent a good bit on the phone with me personally making sure that I was taking Ibuprofen and Tylenol together, and gave me is personal cell phone number to call if the pain became unbearable… I am moving to Florida in a week but will honestly drive back to South Carolina just for Dr Nickels to do my dental work!

Where do I begin? Dr Daniel Nickles is by far the most compassionate and gentle dentist /oral surgeon I have ever been too. He is an expert when it comes to dental implant surgery . I have always been afraid of dentists my whole life because I have had a few horrible experiences. I went to see him today for a follow up appointment to check the progress of my recent surgery. All went well . I have had friends go elsewhere for implants and they had a botched job. I truly feel driving over 3 hours to get to him from NC is worth my time, comfort snd well being. dr. nickles skills are unmatched. I drove 850 miles each a at to have him do my dentures and extractions took 4 visits and almost 3,000 miles of driving but Holy crap im pain free and smiling again... and my teeth were a wreck.. the worst he had seen in years
I don't even know where to start... I walked in there a month or 2 ago in terrible pain... terrified, scared, anxiety ridden, all to be told I had the worst teeth he had seen in a VERY long time, BUT not to worry he could fix me... I didn't know how but I would soon find out... his skills are absolutely phenomenal and 2 out of the 4 appointments I don't even remember thank god lol... he did so much work to get the infections and bacteria and pain under control... after I left about a week or 2 later my mouth felt better than its ever felt.. we decided on dentures as the next course of treatment.. so back to SC I came from Florida... Dr Nickles prescribed me some meds that he said "take 2 before the appointment" I did, and I don't even remember getting in the car to go there lol...they did a full mouth extraction in about 2 hrs and sent me home with dentures in my mouth that day... I woke up that night and forgot I even went to the dentist... I have had ZERO PAIN and only mild discomfort from swelling and having a foreign object in my mouth... I seriously can't believe how freaking good he is and his girls are amazing too I've had experiences with all of them over the past 2 months and I couldn't be happier.. I can't say enough about Dr. Nickles except I was willing to drive 850 miles each way to take advantage of his skill and dedication...
What can I say, everyone was so welcoming, polite, and accommodating. I had never been to Nickles Dental and cracked a tooth the day earlier. I called and they immediately asked me to come and they would work me in. Upon arrival, I waited no more than an hour and I was in a room with Dr. Nickles and his assistant. They took care of my problem and sent me home a happier person. I would highly recommend them and would give them 10 stars if it were possible. Thank you to everyone there who made me feel like family on my first visit. If you have dental needs, trust me, these folks are the REAL DEAL!!

I had an emergency that had I not been able to be seen today, I may not have made it through the weekend due to infection in my bloodstream. I am on chemotherapy so this was a special situation that Dr. Nickles had to coordinate any treatment through my oncologist. Awesome. He literally saved my life. Thank God for him and his wonderful team, Bridgette and Phillipa. The office manager was sick today and not there but I'm sure she's great, also!

The Assistant named Starr, who patiently took photographs of my teeth was so reassuring and thorough with me. I felt I could ask her anything and receive an explanation I could understand. Dr. Nickles and his staff are extraordinary people. He is the only dentist I ever recommend. They've taken on a challenge for a patient and did so gracefully and with unparalleled professionalism with TV commercials that are not too good to be true. Definitely worth my 45-50 minute drives to/from Greenville SC to get care from someone who has 30 years of steady-handed experience, including wisdom teeth removals and oral surgeries, and always does the right things for / by his patients.

Everyone, from the front desk receptionist, to the two young ladies (hygenists?) who assist in the back with patients, to the doctor himself, were patient and professional. They were a pleasure to talk to, and were courteous. I had a surprise tooth extraction today, and it went smoothly, and the cost (I have no insurance) was reasonable and within my budget. I recommended to everyone at work already, and I saw the dentist this morning!

So thankful for Dr. Nickles taking the time today to address hubby's severe infection when he was only supposed to be there for a cleaning with Starr. Thank you, Starr, for recognizing the problem, and thank you Dr. Nickles for taking care of it ASAP. Could have turned into a real mess had it not been addressed. I used to have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. So much so that I didn't go for several years. But have been seeing Dr. Nickles for years now with no angst whatsoever. He and his office staff have always taken great care of us. Even saw my mom on an emergency basis while she was visiting from out of town. They are the best.

Great WONDERFUL knowledgeable staff!!! First time patient and I feel like I knew them for years. I got an appointment in short notice to fit my schedule. What drew me to them was the fact they saw my daughter and fixed her up when her dentist couldn't. They also checked in on her to make sure she was doing fine. Also, what's a big plus is there's no long waiting time!!! If you're looking for A-1 service you must give them a try and you won't be disappointed...Sincerely a new patient 😀

They take such good care of me! I went into the office today with an embarrassing broken tooth. Not only did Dr. Nickles fix the tooth, but he "touched up" 4 other teeth that I was self-conscious about. He gave me my beautiful smile back! I have been a patient since 2002, and the people who work here keep reminding me why.

There should really be a 100 star option for this dentist as well as ALL of his lovely staff members! From the moment I reached out for more information online, I knew I was choosing the right dentist. Dr. Nickles communicated with me promptly via chat on his website and assured me that he would work with me and get me out of pain as soon as possible and he did just that! With him being the stellar dentist he is, he was booked up for the next month or so, but he was able to squeeze me in seeing that I was in so much pain and for that I’m very thankful! As if those experiences weren’t enough, Dr. Nickles wowed me yet again when over the weekend I was experiencing EXTREME pain and discomfort and even though his office is closed Friday-Sunday, his assistant Crystal kept constant communication with me and when nothing was getting me out of pain, Dr. Nickles drove OVER AN HOUR ON A SUNDAY just to visit me!!! Now that is OUTSTANDING patient care. Also, the fact that after treatment on that Sunday, Dr. Nickles DID NOT take me directly to the register (though I’m sure the bill is coming lol) showed me that I was top priority and that made me feel like gold! I clearly can go on and on about how amazing my experience here has been, but I think I’ve said enough and made it crystal clear that I HIGHLY recommend this amazing dentist! The love, patience, compassion and outstanding care is what is needed in these days we’re living! To the Nickles Dental crew, thank each of you for being more than what healthcare should be. 💕

This practice has been my family dentist for just over 14 years! Dr. Nickles is always wonderful and the staff is very professional. On this last visit I had to have two teeth pulled and it went so smoothly. The office is always clean and the staff works hard to keep the flow of business moving. Dr. Nickles is the best dentist around and he does everything, I get my cleaning there with Starr, she is wonderful. Dr. Nickles has done fillings, a root canal and a crown on me and he did my brothers wisdom teeth after his dentist referred him out to several offices. He came to Dr. Nickles and he worked him in and took care of him ASAP. He did implants on my mom. Dr. Nickles and his staff are super nice, they make you feel welcomed!

My experience was very positive with Dr. Nicole’s and his staff, all of whom were knowledgeable, efficient, understanding, and helpful. I was given a concise, detailed assessment of my issues, in which both the dental hygienist and Dr. Nickles walked me through the X-ray images, and recommended a course for treatment. In the past several months we have been to 4 dentists, traveling from forest City NC to Belmont, Matthews, Rutherfordton, and then to Greenville. Thank God for Dr Nickles!! I have Sjögren’s syndrome. Not many people know about this disease. But Dr Nickles did. I’ve been scared of the dentist my entire life. So walking up to Dr Nickles was no different for me. Up until I walked in the staff greeted me knowing I had fears they were kind and patient empathetic and amazing people. I watched as the receptionist checked out another patient while I filled out my paper work. I had to laugh because the patient literally danced her way out of the office. They were beyond kind and understanding. As the receptionist introduced me to the ( I think) dentist assistant she mention to be extra gentle with me because I’m nervous. And they were. Sitting in the chair waiting on Dr Nickles to come in to meet me. The fear I must say started to kick in a little. Dr Nickles comes in the room and makes me feel like he’s been my dentist for years. He spoke to me made eye contact and made jokes even laughing at my jokes. He reassured me. That he will come up with a plan and when I leave him after it’s all said and done that “You would be smiling so big that people would have to ask you why in the world you we’re smiling so big ?” Even if I were to go somewhere else ( I don’t plan on it ) they wouldn’t be able to hold a candle to Dr. Nickles and his staff!!
I am always very scared of the dentist and had some tooth pain and saw his commercial. ..So I gave him a try. I have already recommended him to my friends . So gentle. Did not judge me . Felt at ease. Staff super super nice. Will definitely continue coming to this office.

I used to go to Dr Nickles in the late 90's, early 2000. Then I moved to a different state. I visited several dentists and found everyone of them not able to provide me with the compassion and professionalism Dr Nickles and his team offer to me. Dr. Nickles and the team do whatever they can to make you want to visit them again. I'm so glad to be able to come back to Dr. Nickles and the team!!

Dr Nickles has always been so caring in the almost 3 years I've been a patient with his office. I have no bad words to say about him or his staff. They really do treat me like family and I'm so thankful that I have him as a dentist!
Dr Daniel Nickles was a life saver for me. I had a abscessed tooth . After seeing another dentist who did absolutely nothing for me . Dr Nickles staff got me right in to see him. He assessed me and took care of my tooth right then. Needless to say after eight days of pain, I was so relieved !!! His staff even called me later that day to check on me . I can truly say Dr Nickles is the most caring and kind dentist I have ever seen .

I went here for a root canal on the bottom back tooth in my mouth, a tricky spot. The entire procedure was good. The entire staff is wonderful and Crystal makes sure everyone is well taken care of. Dr. Nickels is an awesome dentist. He helped a lot with my fear of the dentist! He's funny, and intelligent. I highly recommend Dr Nickles. He did a root canal on my sister the same day she was in pain, he worked her in and got her out of pain right away!!

We love Dr Nickles & all his staff. They are friendly & very professional. I have always had a fear of going to the dentist but they are all very welcoming, understanding & not judgemental at all. I live about 30-35 miles away from his office but am very willing to drive that far because of the care they provide.
